For nearly 3 decades, The Black Community Development Corporation (Black CDC) has been making strides towards a self sustaining West Louisville. Through its' work in community equity, economic development, education, and wellness, The Black CDC has increased opportunity and access for people across West Louisville's 9 neighborhoods. The organization now stands poised to do more work with an even wider reach for a great community impact.

Hope Wellness Center
As the only Urgent Care Center in West Louisville, the Hope Wellness Center has been on the front line in battling COVID-19 and providing great care to residents.

Opportunity Corner
The Black CDC took a vacant lot in the Russell neighborhood and transformed it into Louisville's only dedicated pop-up retail space
for black businesses.
